Kenyatta is a Licensed Clinical Social Work/ Therapist. She earned a bachelor’s degree in social work from Troy University. She later earned a master’s degree in Social Work from The University of Alabama with a mental health concentration. Kenyatta currently concentrates her clinical work with children, adolescents and their families. With over 20 years of experience in the field of social work, Kenyatta is certified by Alabama Department of Youth Services to provide treatment to youths with problematic sexual behavior. She has gained training and /or experienced in adoption work, trauma, and families affected by abuse, aggression and conflict. Kenyatta specializes in trauma informed care with a focus on helping families to heal from difficulties that impacts their quality of life.
